  • Note: Quote from evertsensign: “The Presbyterian Society, which formerly worshiped here, were once prosperous, and connected with the Tyrone Presbyterian Church, but they disbanded about twenty years ago, and part of them assisted in forming the Sugar Hill Presbyterian Church.” The “Tyrone Presbyterian Church” is very probably 1st_tyrone_presbyterian_church_building1. Since Everts & Ensign was published in 1879, they probably disbanded in 1859 or somewhat before. See Rowland's writeup on Pine Grove Cemetery. 4)
